According to my mentor, 

    “Erasing karmic pictures and/or unwanted spirits from one’s inner space can be compared to:

1) Homeopathy – when like cures like by introducing a super-potentized energetic version of a substance rendered down to the energy level, that then acts contrary to its physical state, i.e. belladonna as a remedy will cure pain; as a physical substance, it will kill you.

2) The physics of time travel – when 2 versions of a person cannot occupy the same space, they would create a paradox which is resolved by both being removed from existence.

3) When an opera singer breaks a glass by using her voice to hit the right note or frequency; this is the basis of erasure. Her note is identical to the vibration holding the glass together. The voice erases the structure of the glass.”
