After my student had a disturbing experience at work, I found a negative karmic picture of an incarnation predecessor to the student. I recorded it as follows..

“There was a large man in the student’s checkout line at work who asked her a question out-of-the-blue. It was personal. The only thing he said to her was, ‘Where are you from?’ 

At the same time, two coworkers appeared who the student suspected were part of a group who had been harassing her. One appeared ahead of the man, waiting to help with his purchases and another was behind the man and helping another customer. The student suddenly felt boxed in. 

As the student looked up at the customer after his question, she wondered why he’d asked it and felt instantly afraid because of his size. This scenario was disturbing and the student reacted emotionally with fear and anxiety – it arose quickly and intensely within her.”

After the student shared her experience, I found a karmic picture (memory) that was triggered by this current event. According to my mentor, it was ‘a karmic memory lodged as a picture that had about a 75% congruity with the current situation, enough to trigger an emotional response in the present.’ The student shared the following…

“The picture my teacher found showed an incarnation predecessor of mine who was a girl about age 8 – 12. Not a child, really, but not yet an adolescent or teenager.

This young girl became attracted to an adult male. She was still young, so the attraction was not in a sexual way. He was pleasing to her because of his friendliness and attention to her. She did, however, have a niggling thought of whether or not she should trust him. She wasn’t sure but felt drawn to him all the same.

This adult ended up doing something awful which contradicted the initial attraction she had to him.  This caused her to doubt her ability to read people. She mistrusted her own intuition which created an unresolved issue within her.” 

The negative event created a stuck place within the incarnation predecessor’s heart chakra as well as her 2nd chakra which, in women, is located at the region of the uterus. According to my mentor, this 2nd chakra ‘defines the gender at an emotional and psychic level. It also negotiates or loses boundaries of self’.

 The student’s predecessor experienced female insecurity and confusion. She felt betrayed in a male/female situation though he was an adult and she was younger. 

Her heart chakra was also affected. This is located above the solar plexus and below the throat chakra in the area of the physical heart. Again, according to my mentor, the heart chakra is a place of affinities – recognizing them or loss/denial of affinities, trust/loss of trust, betrayal, love, beauty, harmony, passion, abandonment, atheism.

The predecessor felt her trust betrayed by the male acquaintance. Her affinity to be able to read people around her had been important to her, but when the action of this acquaintance wasn’t what she expected she doubted her affinity which began to undermine her trust in her intuition. This created an unresolved dichotomy.

The student’s current meeting with the larger man created an emotional experience which was exacerbated by the karmic image that had been stored in her two chakras mentioned.  I, her teacher, erased the karmic picture and removed any other pain influencers connected with it. The student was then relieved of the intense emotional anxiety caused by the current incident. She is able to look at it in a neutral way.
